USA spends more on Ukraine than maintaining its roads, bridges

Republican Congressman Thomas Massie claims USA money going to Ukraine is being fed back into the Democrats’ military industrial supporters.

He also said on Twitter that U.S.  government has spent more on Ukraine in the past six months than it has on American road infrastructure annually.

Did we forget what the Ukraine war is about?

“Several breakaway regions of ethnic Russians in the former Ukraine are determined to go it alone as independent republics within the Russian Federation. That wasn’t on the table until February 2021 when Vladimir Putin suggested he should have taken steps like that going back to even 2014 when the breakaways began to leave Ukraine,” explains Alona Adamovich, a Ukrainian nurse, a humanitarian team leader, and director for RINJ Women in Ukraine and the Donbass.

Thomas Massie gets it.

Putting America first. “US funding for Ukraine now includes a 3rd category. In addition to military and humanitarian assistance, American taxpayers are now on the hook for ‘government assistance’ to Ukraine. That’s right, we’re paying the salaries and expenses of Ukrainian politicians & bureaucrats.”

“Today the armies of Luhansk, Donetsk and Russia as well as some allies from time to time, are fighting USA/NATO in Ukraine on behalf of the people of Donbass who wish to be free of Ukraine’s oppressive regime,” Ms. Adamovich explains.

“Casualties on the side of the breakaway states since the beginning of the war stand at 327,580, according to the Ukrainian military.

“That is a staggering number, but it is worse on the Ukrainian side where I suspect that over 1.3 million casualties are attributed to the war  if you combine the numbers of unidentified corpses and the number of missing persons, buried out of necessity in mass graves to prevent disease spread from rotting corpses in the streets and in the fields of Donbass,” Alona opined.

Watch Tucker Carlson and Thomas Massie share some staggering revelations.

Tucker Ep. 45 “How could Washington possibly send tens of billions more to sleazy oligarchs in Ukraine now that the whole enterprise has been revealed as a fruitless, corrupt and incredibly destructive disaster? Because that’s what they always do.”

“Well, I hope he doesn’t. But you know, Biden’s budget director, the head of the OMB sent a letter yesterday to Speaker Mike Johnson, imploring him to spend more money in Ukraine. And what they said is they want to revitalize our defense industrial base,” Mr. Massie reacted.

“And they sent a list of states that would get money when we spend, you know, money on deadly munitions because they have to be manufactured in Alabama or Ohio or Texas.”

“And so, you know, they’re saying the quiet part out loud that congressmen tend to vote for this stuff because a lot of this federal spending that goes to Ukraine is actually laundered back to the military-industrial complex. And in some ways, not very efficiently, but in some ways, it enriches people in their districts and the stockholders, some of whom are congressmen,” said Congressman Massie.
