This International Women’s Day (IWD 2024) RINJ Women have decided to solicit the help of the women of the world to end the slaughter of women and children in Gaza with a Ceasefire. Please contact your local political representative and urge them to fight for a ceasefire in the Gaza strip. Stop the war in Palestine.

‘It’s men who decide to wage war, and it’s women who suffer the worst consequences’

Since 7 October 2024, 74% of the more than 31,000 people killed by munitions in Gaza are estimated to be women and children.

The Gaza Strip has become the most dangerous place in the world to be a woman.

Two moms are killed every hour and seven women every two hours in Gaza. The toll on mothers and children is heart-wrenching, with many facing unimaginable hardships.

The Gaza Strip has become the most dangerous place in the world to be a woman. An unprecedented 40% of deaths in Gaza have been children. Additionally, 35 Israeli children have allegedly lost their lives, and more than 30 are alleged to be held hostage since the conflict began. Medical workers in Gaza estimate that many if not most of the alleged remaining hostages were killed during Israel’s carpet bombing attacks.

The RINJ Foundation Women urgently calls for a humanitarian ceasefire, emphasizing that mere pauses are insufficient for children to survive. The situation is dire, and resources are needed to meet the growing needs of those affected.

In Gaza, overcrowded conditions, insufficient clean water, and unavailable sanitation pose multiple health risks for women and their families.

Women face unique challenges related to menstrual and general hygiene, while mothers give birth without basic necessities like clean water, clean clothing, blankets, diapers, swaddling clothes, painkillers, medicine, disinfectants, and not even electricity for light, environment control, incubators and more.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank, where settler violence is increasing to a calamity level asa ISrael encourages settlers to steal homes from Palestinian families, many thousands of Palestinian women are expected to give birth as they are being thrown out of their homes to make way for Israeli settlers who take the Palestinian homes and belongings.  Some of these pregnant women are now being held in Israeli prisons along with an estimated 9,000 others.

A permanent Ceasefire is demanded by women everywhere.

America and Israel are dangerous offenders. Both the USA and Israel have a long established record of using murder and genocide to solve their problems. This must stop.
