Healthy Women: Find your bliss during illness-imposed isolation.

Changing the way one thinks when faced with worries sounds like a hard thing to do but there are triggers that start the process.

Life is precious and has a unique meaning that is different for each person—that should be our personal journey.

Journeys should be happy learning experiences. One cannot always control the unpleasant situations, but can move past them, learn from them and grow from them.

Deal with what needs to be managed and then focus on the things that can be changed to make them fit one’s own unique journey. Find your bliss. Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust found their bliss in the famous “Powerpuff Girls” anime. Perhaps something like that might be yours. Are you ready to write that story that has always been in the back of your mind.

Don’t let the humdrum of  illness-isolation wear you down or muddle your moods during the current COVID-19 outbreak. How is this possible? Find your bliss. It is in you.

Find something that makes you want to smile and wake up in the morning happy to begin your day. It is quite simple, no matter if it is work or it is play, to seek something that you feel most comfortable doing and include those things in your routine.

Consider ideas like painting, photography, dancing, gardening, cooking, baking, writing poems, stories, singing songs or writing. Some people enjoy organizing things, taking care of animals, parenting, caring for the most vulnerable members of a family.

Whatever you feel that works best for you while giving you peace of mind is your reward—you have found your bliss. You will go to sleep at night very happy and excited to start the brand new day.

Calm Meditation Can Yield Answers

If you still have no idea which direction to go, before you go to sleep at night do a simple meditation.

Clear your mind of all thoughts in a quiet setting such as your bedroom. Let peace surround you. Then ask yourself, three times, what is my bliss? Wait and try to listen to your inner self for the answer. You may not receive an answer right away and repeat this process every night.

The answer will come to you as you continue to realize that your happiness is inside you.
