Zelenskyy fades into NATO Irrelevance. This is about Russia

“NATO’s only enemy and only reason to exist is the Russian Federation. NATO desperately needed the war in Ukraine against Russia and has been provoking Russia for three decades. Joe Biden, since 2009, has led the American intervention into the corrupt government in Kiev. The goal was to overthrow government leaders who favoured support of the substantial Russian-speaking populations in regions assigned to Ukraine by the government of the Soviet Union for reasons no one has ever understood,” explains Israeli security analyst and consultant Simon Baldock from Tel Aviv.

“This is clearly a NATO/USA war against Russia being fought in Ukraine at the expense of Ukrainian lives. I like many academics and analysts predict that Ukraine will not survive this. The war uses all of NATO’s assets and capabilities, a lot of which is channeled through America, Britain, Germany, France, and Poland. The possibility of this conflict resulting in a massive nuclear war is such that Albert Einstein’s doomsday clock is at 90 seconds before midnight as of the middle of January this year,” Mr. Baldock added.

“Multi-year support for Ukraine is the key operand because in order to drag out the war long enough to kill Russia, peace must be off the table, as it has been, and weapons must pour into Ukraine until the last Ukrainian has fallen. That seems to be the view of NATO and its U.S. manager,” said Mr. Baldock.

Zelenskyy is unhappy that NATO continues to drift and delay any specific timeline for Ukraine’s NATO membership which was hesitantly promised in 2008.

“It’s unprecedented and absurd when time frame is not set neither for the invitation nor for Ukraine’s membership [in NATO]. While at the same time vague wording about ‘conditions’ is added even for inviting Ukraine [to join NATO]. It seems there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance,” tweeted Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy, a Ukrainian politician, former comedian and actor.

NATO (USA) Cluster Munitions pouring into Ukraine for use against urban populations in Donbass and the large percentage of Russian-speaking Ukrainians in Zelenskyy’s country don’t seem to be a topic of conversation for the hobnobbing crowds from 31 NATO countries in Vilnius, Lithuania, but that is what the world is talking about.

NATO making no commitment to Ukraine “is absurd” says Mr. Zelenskyy. But all the while, Fance has promised to follow Britain’s lead and provide long range missiles and warheads to Ukraine and a large package of NATO country weapons is also being ‘gifted’ to Ukraine.

Wednesday’s agenda features the 1st meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, and President Zelenskyy is scheduled for separate talks with U.S. President Joeseph Biden.

Biden, reports the White House staff, will deliver an address, “highlighting how the United States, alongside ‘our’ allies and partners, are supporting Ukraine, defending democratic values, and taking action to address global challenges,” the White House said.

Excerpt from NATO Communiqué.

“We, the Heads of State and Government of the North Atlantic Alliance, bound by shared values of individual liberty, human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, have gathered in Vilnius as war continues on the European continent, to reaffirm our enduring transatlantic bond, unity, cohesion, and solidarity at a critical time for our security and international peace and stability.  NATO is a defensive Alliance.  It is the unique, essential and indispensable transatlantic forum to consult, coordinate and act on all matters related to our individual and collective security.  We reaffirm our iron-clad commitment to defend each other and every inch of Allied territory at all times, protect our one billion citizens, and safeguard our freedom and democracy, in accordance with Article 5 of the Washington Treaty.  We will continue to ensure our collective defence from all threats, no matter where they stem from, based on a 360-degree approach, to fulfil NATO’s three core tasks of deterrence and defence, crisis prevention and management, and cooperative security.  We adhere to international law and to the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations and are committed to upholding the rules-based international order.  This Summit marks a milestone in strengthening our Alliance.

“We warmly welcome President Zelenskyy to the inaugural meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council.  We look forward to our valuable exchanges with the Heads of State and Government of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea, as well as the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission at this Summit.  We also welcome the engagements with the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and the Republic of Moldova, and with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as we continue to consult closely on the implementation of NATO’s tailored support measures.”

Humanitarian NGOs in the actual war zone

Humanitarian NGOs in the actual war zone say they have been seeing cluster munitions used by Ukraine since 2014. American cluster munitions are to be used in the densely populated war zone region areas shown here with the “R” Roundels according to sources in Kiev. Global Human rights defenders are focused on the war crimes in Ukraine and preventing new American cluster munitions entering Ukraine. The RINJ Foundation is organizing a global boycott of American goods and services and 17 HRD NGOs have offered to help. There is an international agreement by consensus that:

  • Ukrainian forces have used cluster munitions that caused deaths and serious injuries to civilians.
  • Russian forces have extensively used cluster munitions, causing many civilian deaths and serious injuries.
  • Cluster munitions used by Russia and Ukraine are harming civilians now and will leave bomblets behind that will continue to do so for many years.
  • Both sides should immediately stop using cluster munitions and not seek to obtain more of these indiscriminate weapons.
  • The US ‘must’ not transfer cluster munitions to Ukraine.
