King Abdullah II of Jordan at UNGA79

The leader of Jordan is seeking “a massive relief effort to deliver food, clean water, medicine, and other vital supplies to those in desperate need,” in Gaza.

Countering Israel’s de facto PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet speaking out about pushing Palestinians toward Jordan, his majesty said, “We will never accept the forced displacement of Palestinians, which is a war crime.”

“This Israeli government has killed more children, more journalists, more aid workers, and more medical personnel than any other war in recent memory,” King Abdullah II said, noting also attacks in the West Bank and violations of the historical and legal status quo of Holy Sites in Jerusalem.
