Nonbinding. America trashes ICJ, UNSC and UN implying Israel can continue Genocide

UNSC hah hah hah. To help placate Jewish campaign funders for Biden a U.S. Admiral says to the world, “UNSC Ceasefire Resolutions are nonbinding, meaningless.”

The United States’ recent actions in the United Nations Security Council have brought the Biden Administration and the United Nations into the doghouse globally and domestically.

So what was this all about for the last six months?

On 25 March 2024, the UN Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan. The resolution called for the unconditional release of hostages by both sides and emphasized the urgent need to expand humanitarian aid into Gaza. Notably, 14 member states voted in favor, while the United States abstained because as it says, Israel doesn’t have to do any of these things because the edict is nonbinding.

Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu who claims to run the country also says he will not be accepting the UNSC’s resolution.

If the resolution is not legally binding, its adoption represents a collective opinion of the international community that the ongoing Gaza Genocide must stop; and efforts must be made to promote peace in the region, maybe stopping the extermination of women and children in Gaza, maybe not. Does any one of our leaders care? That may be why the International Court of Justice has spoken up on Thursday.

Summary of ICJ new Provisional Measures Against Israel

Ensure Food Deliveries
Given the worsening conditions faced by Palestinians in Gaza, Israel must take “all necessary and effective measures” to ensure the unhindered provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance. This includes aid such as food, water, electricity, fuel, shelter, clothing, hygiene, sanitation, medical supplies, and medical care.

Open More Land Crossings
As a signatory to the Genocide Convention, Israel is called upon to increase the capacity and number of land crossing points and keep them open for as long as necessary.

Prevent Violations of Palestinian Rights
Israel must ensure that its military does not commit acts that violate the rights of Palestinians in Gaza as a protected group under the Genocide Convention. This includes preventing the obstruction of urgently needed humanitarian assistance.

The White House says Israel doesn’t need to abide by these instructions and the Ceasefire order because they are not binding,
