Israeli Security Minister Ben-Gvir wants more Gaza death

In a multi-layered attack on Benjamin Netanyahu’s rule of Israel, Minister of Security Itamar Ben Gvir has been demanding an Israeli security cabinet session. Mr. Ben-Gvir wants Bennie Gantz’s position on the war committee. He has made it clear to PM Netanyahu he is not happy.

Meanwhile. the Israeli prosecutor’s office says Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s “attempts to intervene in police work by personally contacting the deputy police commissioner are a gross breach of the law and a prohibited intervention by the minister in the police’ operational activity.”

The police activity Mr. Ben-Gvir has interrupted is the protection of humanitarian aid convoys. Mr. Ben-Gvir leads thousands of Israeli settlers whom he empowers to go and seize land in Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza, stealing houses and possessions for themselves and driving off the Palestinian residents.

Ben-Givr has lately been commanding hordes of Israeli settlers in a quasi-militia mode to attack humanitarian aid convoys, damage trucks, hurt drivers and destroy the precious cargoes.

Convoy attacked by 400 “Israeli Settlers” often now referred to as Ben-Gvir’s militia.

One truck driver told The Guardian that, “We were carrying oil, sugar and other things and driving from the Tarqumiya crossing,” he said. “We left in a convoy with an army vehicle in front of us and an army vehicle behind us, and we took a special army road that civilians could not cross. Suddenly, after 20 minutes on the road, near the crossing, we were surprised by at least 400 settlers. They attacked us. The rest of the drivers and I escaped from the vehicles after the settlers started throwing stones at us.’’

Mr. Ben-Gvir is a ranking member of the Otzma Yehudit Zionist Party and is significant in keeping Netanyahu in power, however, Mr. Ben-Gvir would not likely have the level of sway he has now on his own electoral merits say political pundits.

“Mr. Prime Minister, the ministers of the cabinet are not a decoration. Your partners in the government are not air. The situation in the north is unbearable. And the exclusion of ministers and the cabinet from every discussion on the topic is unacceptable,” Mr. Gvir said in a letter to Netanyahu.

“The man is oozing hatred and violence,” commented FPM consulting security analyst Simon Baldock from Tel Aviv. “His recent speeches to Israeli settlers incite violent criminality beyond the pale,” Mr. Baldock added.

“For victory we need to enter all of Gaza and fight until victory. For victory we need to encourage emigration from Gaza. For Victory we need to enter the north and fight Hezbollah and annihilate them. We must not agree to dangerous deals”

A far-right Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir has been delivering speeches to thousands of his Israeli settler army which actually marches through the East Jerusalem, chanting Islamophobic slurs against Palestinians.

Mr. Gvir has called for the starvation of Palestinians in Gaza “encouraging emigration“, an exodus of Palestinians from Gaza. He also endorsed the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip and the construction of Jewish-only settlements on the ruins of Palestinian homes.
