Health Canada Suggests:

This graph shows Canada's current COVID-19 path. Active cases is an important measure. It is the difference between cumulative cases and recoveries---the people who are sick right now. Stay home, wear an N95 mask if out and maintain high hygiene standards. Canada is hit hard by more virilent variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. They are spreading fast. Protect your respiratory system, wear a FFP respirator. They are not hard to aquire any longer. Order online.

Each Canadian must conduct themselves as if they are living in an infectious disease laboratory.

The only safe rooms are in your home, if you make it safe by cleaning all touched surfaces at least every day and after the entry of any person of the household. No other persons must enter the home. Nobody should come and go for any reason except an emergency. If a person must leave the home for an errand, they must wear a full set of respiratory PPE. That includes a respirator mask, goggles, gloves, and only if you wish, a properly fitted, certified medical grade face shield, otherwise don't bother because fake medical shields are dangerous. It must be sealed with a foam strip at the forehead otherwise it is a scoop for potentially infected air to flow past the eyes and nose.

Upon returning home, say from a shopping trip, do not touch anything but go to a designated area in an unused area of your home or at least one that can easily be cleaned thoroughly.

Keeping gloves on, remove all facial PPE by the strings. Remove gloves by peeling off the right glove using the gloved left hand and hold it with the fingers, then inserting the right hand fingers under the cuff of the left glove peeling it over the fingers clasping the right glove. Do not touch the outside of the glove with bare hands. Discard the gloves or drop them into hot soapy water if reusable. Do not touch your face. Next perform hand hygiene and remove clothing . Clothing should go into the wash immediately. Shower immediately using plenty of ordinary soap that lathers. Welcome home. Wash your hands again, despite the shower. Don't touch your face. Wear a mask now for at least seven days while at home unless you have your own room, then wear a mask outside that room or when anyone enters.

Special note: All of the above safety measures apply to a person who for whatever reason must work outside the home. Under those circumstances it is better the worker live elsewhere or completely isolate inside the home. All persons in the home must then wear a respiratoory (N-95 or certified KN-95) at all times. There will be no earnings if the earner is gasping for air in a hospital, if there is one available, or dead.

Canada is moving into a regime of out-of-control infection and it is time to rein that in by taking this thing seriously. Soon, massive reinfections will start to take place and they kill a lot of people. Prevent that. Follow public health guidelines, the stricter, the better.

On 17 July 2020, the province of Quebec revised all of its criteria for establishing recoveries. The Institut national de sante publique claimed "the previous method resulted in 'significant underestimates' of recovered cases."

This error correction caused a radical drop in active cases nationwide from a total of 27,603 on 16 July 2020 to 4,058 on 17 July 2020. This consequently looks bizarre in all graphs. It also creates an inexplicable blip in active cases at the time.

Canada. Beta experimental estimates including reported + unreported (mild + asymptomatic) COVID-19 infections.

The total actual number of infections in Canada, including all the untested, unreported, asymptomatic infections is likely greater than 11,903,122 (31.151% of the population) including mild and asymptomatic cases. That would mean the estimated inferred average Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) is likely very high at 0.261% (31067 deaths including those deaths unreported as COVID-19) (influenza is .1% or 6 per 100k (2019)).
