Since 28 February, Vladimir Rostislavovich Medinsky has been the head of the Russian delegation in negotiations with Ukraine.
He claims that “Russia and Ukraine at the talks are bringing their positions closer on minor issues, and on the main political issues they are actually marking time, said Mr. Medinsky on Saturday.
“Without demilitarization, denazification of Ukraine, recognition of Crimea and Donbass, the conclusion of an agreement with Kiev is unlikely,” Medinsky said.
The General Staff of the Russian Federation Armed Forces has stated that the main tasks of the first stage of the special operation have been completed, the combat potential of Ukraine has been significantly reduced, claims the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Russian troops blocked Kyiv, Kharkov, Chernihiv, Sumy and Nikolaev. Almost the entire territory of the LPR and more than half of the DPR have been liberated, says the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“The air force, the air defense system of Ukraine were almost completely destroyed, the country’s navy ceased to exist,” says the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“During the “special military operation”, more than 1,300 Russian soldiers were killed, almost 4,000 were injured, the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces reported Friday.
