Canadian Women take back gold from USA in Olympic Hockey
As Canada/USA relations tank and the image of America in Canadian’s eyes is in the dumpster, Canadian women take back their hockey Gold from toxic USA.
In Women’s hockey Thursday at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, Canada beat the United States 3-2 to win the women’s ice hockey final.
Mid-first-period, the history-making Sarah Nurse scored for Canada followed by today’s other Canadian national Shero Olympic Women’s Hockey Team Captain, Marie-Philip Poulin (a.k.a. ‘Captain Clutch’) who continued Sarah Nurse’s sharpshooting with two strong goals for the happy Canadian women.
Sarah Nurse earned the most game points and assists ever in a single women’s Olympic tournament.
Canada had scored 54 goals, an Olympic tournament record, leading up to the finals. Sarah Fillier, Jamie Lee Rattray and Brianne Jenner, are in the five top scorers during the 2022 Beijing Winter Games.
The Canadian women were outshot by the Americans 40 to 21 according to official results, signifying the superior Canadian goal keeping.
