Free Julian Assange movement includes UN. Here is why global communities grow sick of American impunity, like plotting to kill a journo

Reporter Julian Assange exposed America’s proclivity to mass murder. He likely knows more. This explains why America wants this journalist dead.

“Mr. Assange told the world what was happening but we Americans knew already because the soldiers came home and told us about the mass murders of civilians and the Reuters journalists. The soldiers suffered horrible post traumatic stress disorders, and so too did the therapists who heard their confessions of mass murders of civilians,” a health care worker who has treated many returning American soldiers for PTSD added.

Free Julian Assange “Without journalists able to do their jobs in safety, we face the prospect of a world of confusion and disinformation”, UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned in the fall of 2019.
“When journalists are targeted, societies as a whole pay a price”, added the UN chief. “Without the ability to protect journalists, our ability to remain informed and contribute to decision-making, is severely hampered”. Julian Assange is again in court, this time as America seeks to appeal the British Court’s denial of Extradition.

Sigurdur Thordarson, a former Wikileaks worker who became an FBI informant, now claims he made up much of his evidence which was adduced to the Court by the Crown and American prosecutors.

In January 2021, “an independent UN human rights expert welcomed a British court’s refusal to extradite Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to the United States on the basis that he would be exposed to oppressive conditions of imprisonment”, reported UN News.

“That the United States got caught by Julian Assange with its collective pants down committing crimes against humanity is a lot like the COVID-19 pandemic. People grow accustomed to deaths caused by the US government’s cavalier uncaring for human life. If you don’t think that is true,” suggests Monique Deslauriers, an American nurse in Calais, Maine, “take a look at the American health care system which is killing thousands of chronically ill Americans who do not have enough money to buy medicine at the colossal prices charged here and can’t get away to Canada to buy reasonably priced chronic illness meds,” she added.

“Mr. Assange told the world what was happening but we Americans knew already because the soldiers came home and told us about the mass murders of civilians including  the Reuters journalists. The soldiers suffered horrible post traumatic stress disorders, and so too did the therapists who heard their confessions of mass murders of civilians,” the health care worker added.

If what Julian Assange Exposed wasn’t a violation of international law, what is the American government so afraid of that it would conspire to murder Julian Assange in an embassy in London?

“There was a time when human life in America mattered a lot. American academics once complained abut the lack of value for human life in the East. The situation has reversed,” commented Moshe Karem (Jerusalem, Israel), an Israeli writer.

“We want to kill anyone we do not like with impunity. People like Julian Assange who think they can get lucky and find proof of these matters, are a public enemy by default,” said a retired US Marine who wishes to remain unidentified.

Following the January 2021 verdict to oppose the American extradition request, which is now being appealed, a UN Rapporteur said:

“I am gravely concerned that the judgement confirms the entire, very dangerous rationale underlying the US indictment, which effectively amounts to criminalizing national security journalism – Nils Melzer, UN Special Rapporteur on torture

“This is of great concern,” said Mr. Melzer in January, adding that “none of these questions will now be reviewed by the Appeals Court, as the only issue at stake will be Mr. Assange’s medical fitness to withstand US conditions of detention.”

“Should the US provide assurances that Mr. Assange will be treated humanely, his extradition could potentially be confirmed on appeal without any meaningful review of the very serious legal concerns raised by this case,” he said.

“Mr. Assange must now be immediately set free, rehabilitated and compensated for the abuse and arbitrariness he has been exposed to,” said Mr. Melzer in January after the ruling that is now being appealed by the US government which allegedly and on the evidence prefers that all journalists only report information that does not expose American government officials wrongdoings or they will be murdered.

Amnesty International’s Secretary General, Agnès Callamard, says “reports that the CIA considered kidnapping or killing Assange have cast even more doubt on the reliability of US promises and further expose the political motivation behind this case.”

“It is a damning indictment that nearly 20 years on, virtually no one responsible for alleged US war crimes committed in the course of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars has been held accountable, let alone prosecuted, and yet a publisher who exposed such crimes is potentially facing a lifetime in jail.”

Indictment poses a grave threat to press freedom says Amnesty International.

In a statement issued by Amnesty International, the group said,  “The US government’s indictment poses a grave threat to press freedom both in the United States and abroad. The conduct it describes includes professional activities undertaken by investigative journalists and publishers on a daily basis. Were Julian Assange’s extradition to be allowed it would criminalize common journalistic practices and permit the US and possibly other countries to target publishers and journalists outside their jurisdictions for exposing governmental wrongdoing.”

The plot by the USA Government to Kill Julian Assange is a game changer say many Assange supporters.

According to news reports, “Some senior officials inside the CIA and the Trump administration even discussed killing Assange, going so far as to request “sketches” or “options” for how to assassinate him.

Discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred “at the highest levels” of the Trump administration, said a former senior counterintelligence official. “There seemed to be no boundaries.”

“While Assange had been on the radar of U.S. intelligence agencies for years,” says the Yahoo News report,  “these plans for an all-out war against him were sparked by WikiLeaks’ ongoing publication of extraordinarily sensitive CIA hacking tools, known collectively as “Vault 7,” which the agency ultimately concluded represented, ‘the largest data loss in CIA history.”‘

“Pompeo and other top agency leaders “were completely detached from reality because they were so embarrassed about Vault 7,” said a former Trump national security official. ‘They were seeing blood..’

“…This Yahoo News investigation, based on conversations with more than 30 former U.S. officials — eight of whom described details of the CIA’s proposals to abduct Assange — reveals for the first time one of the most contentious intelligence debates of the Trump presidency and exposes new details about the U.S. government’s war on WikiLeaks.” Citing extensive the Yahoo News investigation and  Yahoo News Report
