Impeach Trump? 8,907 Emails say yes, 13 equivocate or say no.

Reader opinions slant strongly to Trump’s second impeachment. FPM.news asked in several articles for people’s opinions and also used social media accounts and FPM.news messaging channels. To the best of our ability to discern, 80% of the responses are from US citizens in the United States.

“There is a high probability that only people strongly interested in seeing an affirmative action against the law breaker President would be likely to respond,” suggests Rosa Yamamoto who helped organize the survey. This is probably a valid suggestion of Rosa who is a university graduate but she has no special training in conducting polls. This is purely an exercise in reader feedback.

Since 6 January, FPM.news received 8920 responses.

Examples of the one-liner responses. Many responses were worthy essays.

  1. “I agree. This would also keep him from running in the next election.”
  2. “Donald Trump should be kicked out by Pence and 25th Amendment.”
  3. “Trump should be in jail by now!”

One of the reader’s essays suggests that lawmakers should stop living in fear and retire if their support for Trump is based solely on a “panicky feeling about what Trump might do to harm them if they do not continue as his sycophants”.

Many respondents mentioned these names in the below illustration plus others not shown.

“Perhaps respondents would be willing to look over some images and determine what if anything they know about the parties seen in these images. They are of interest to the FBI,” said Monique Deslauriers in a zoom call during Friday. Monique is an Executive Director of the RINJ Women for the USA and a frequent information source and contributor to FPM.news.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI), Washington Field Office, is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals who made unlawful entry into the United States Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C.,” she said, reading from an FBI information circular.

The following are thumbnail images of some persons of interest. More information can be found here.

Simon Baldock, an Israeli security analyst with many connections in US law enforcement suggested that “Americans are deeply wounded by the scurrilous and seditious attacks against their Capitol Building and all that it represents. I suspect that most American citizens who are reminded of any contact at all with the persons shown in the FBI photographs, would feel good about their selves if they took the step to report even the slightest bit of information. Remembering seeing a certain person at a convenience store or local watering hole tells investigators plenty once all the bits of data are pieced together.”

“People need to start feeling better about their country now that the four-year nightmare will soon come to an end,” Baldock added.

“And I agree with your readers. The mechanisms of political justice must be brought to bear if Washington DC is ever to start to recover even a smidgeon of respect,” he continued thoughtfully. “Trump must be impeached with a proviso that bans his participation in any form of election process for life. I wonder now if all ‘Reality TV’ hosts should be banned.”
